VSKYLABS Aeropro EuroFOX v9.0 - The Journey Continues, 8 Years and Counting:
The VSKYLABS Aeropro EuroFOX was the 1st VSKYLABS 'full-scale' aircraft which was developed for X-Plane, back in 2016, in the early days of VSKYLABS. It was developed following permission by Aeropro s.r.o. - the manufacturer of the EuroFOX (as an independent VSKYLABS project which is not affiliated with Aeropro s.r.o.).
In February 2017, the VSKYLABS Aeropro EuroFOX v1.0 took flight in X-Plane 10, for the first time. In the ever-evolving world of flight simulation technology, where cutting-edge flight-simulator software (X-Plane in particular) constantly evolve, developers are challenged to keep their add-ons updated and relevant. The VSKYLABS Aeropro EuroFOX has stood the test of time.
Since its initial release for X-Plane 10, the VSKYLABS EuroFOX has undergone major updates, adapting to X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12. This long-term development ensured that pilots always had an aircraft/product that meets the latest X-Plane standards, eventhough it was not initially developed with modern approaches and state-of-the-art development tools of preset day.
With the release of v9.0, the VSKYLABS Aeropro EuroFOX is once again delivering a unique, immersive and refined experience to date in X-Plane 12. Now, eight years since its initial release, this exciting aircraft is still keeping pace with X-Plane’s technological advancements.

Three Models – Three Unique Experiences:
Perfect fit for beginner and expert pilots! Practice your skills through the Tricycle landing gears EuroFOX, Tail-Wheel variant, and a STOL Bush-Plane variant.
The VSKYLABS Aeropro EuroFOX package includes three distinct models, each offering a unique flight experience:
- EuroFOX A240 (Tricycle Gear) - The modern configuration, offering smooth handling and stability for cross-country and general aviation flights.
- EuroFOX A220 (Tailwheel) - A nod to classic taildragger enthusiasts, delivering precise handling and a more traditional flying feel.
- EuroFOX A220-STOL (Tailwheel with Tundra Tires) - The ultimate backcountry aircraft, designed for bush flying with enhanced STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) capabilities.
Each model is powered by the Rotax 912 (100 hp) engine, making them lightweight, fuel-efficient, and capable of operating from a wide range of airstrips-including the most rugged and remote locations.
All 3 variants are equipped with an Experimental/LSA type autopilot, built-in Avitab compatibility and Alpha Systems AOA 'Eagle' indicator replica.
*The development and implementation of the VSKYLABS 'Alpha Systems AOA' virtual indicators in the VSKYLABS fleet for X-Plane was approved by 'Alpha Systems AOA'. However, it is an independent development effort which is not affiliated with 'Alpha Systems AOA'.
The project includes the VSKYLABS 'Cockpit-Builders Heaven' assignment layer. It allows assigning all aircraft switches, knobs, levers and interactions in a designated, uncluttered section in the X-Plane 12 assignment screen:
