F-4E Phantom II - Development Snapshot

A fresh look at the WIP 'Test-Pilot': VSKYLABS F-4E Phantom II project for X-Plane 12. Development focus at the present covers advanced stages of cockpit modeling and engineering alongside systems and operational features integration.

Reminder: The VSKYLABS F-4E is an invitation to a test-pilot conversion experience rather than a weapons-oriented tactical warfare simulation. X-Plane is the "Edwards" of flight simulation, and VSKYLABS is here to push its boundaries.

VSKYLABS Expands Its Aviation Coverage:

After a decade-long effort, VSKYLABS entered the professional RC aviation simulation field with the release of VSKYLABS RC-Elements (RCE) Vol.1. This marks the establishment of an additional simulation branch within VSKYLABS, while development of the full-scale aviation projects continues as planned.

During the past few months, various full-scale aviation projects stepped back in priority, as part of the RCE finalization and release, which took place on 8th June 2026.

Development of the upcoming NEW VSKYLABS projects is gradually returning to its planned development track, as well as the development of the scheduled updates.
